What Talent Resources actually does

HR managed one supply (people) against one demand (jobs). TR runs a three-way balancing act.

The balancing act

1. Read the market

Labor markets, AI model and agent capability curves, vendor and open-source options, regulation, cost trends, and what competitors are staffing with what.

2. Read the business

Strategy, demand forecasts, risk appetite, quality and safety bars, and which outcomes need judgment versus throughput.

3. Read both talent pools

Internal people and skills, external candidates, and the catalog of AI talent: models, agents, robots, their evaluated skills, cost, and limits.

The output is a staffing decision per outcome: the mix of human and AI talent, who leads, what is checked by whom, and when the mix should change.

One lifecycle, two kinds of talent

StageHuman talentAI talent
SourceRecruiting, internal mobility, partnersModel/agent marketplaces, build vs buy, open-source, robotics vendors
QualifyInterviews, work samples, referencesEvaluations, red-teaming, benchmark on our tasks, security and licensing review
OnboardOrientation, access, mentoringScoped identity, tool permissions, context and memory, sandbox trial period
DeployRole, manager, goalsRole in a pod, autonomy level, escalation rules, budget cap

EvaluatePerformance review, feedbackContinuous scorecards: quality, safety incidents, cost per outcome, drift

The net-positive test

Every staffing decision is scored against four ledgers. A change ships only if the total is positive and no ledger is badly negative.

Customer

Quality, speed, trust, safety.

Business

Cost, resilience, growth capacity, risk.

People

Meaningful work, skills growth, fair transition, wellbeing.

Society

Responsible-AI, compliance, environmental and community impact.

A formal Net Positive Index (weights, scoring, thresholds) is a planned next iteration. See the build log.
